Kendall and I made friends with Katie and Rylie.

Katie is the incredibly humorous writer

of a blog called Apple pie, anyone?

When I found out she lived near me,

I invited myself right over to her farm.

They've got a whole herd of Texas Longhorns,

a ton of chickens and a super cute lil gal named Rylie.

The longhorns are expecting babies and Ry just became a big sister. What fun!

We went to the Grand Rapids Public Museum to check out their new exhibit - Big, Big Bugs!

Pinewood Derby 2010

Brady raced in the YAG Pinewood Derby.

His car is in lane #1 on the right.

His car was soooooo fast and he won 1st place!His name will be engraved on this traveling trophy

and he will get to keep it for one year.
He also gets to throw out the first pitch at a Whitecaps game!

Snow Castle

We have been blessed with beautiful,

sunny weather this week in West Michigan.

Our snow is slowly melting away...

I found this snow castle building kit on clearance at Meijer.

Will this be the only time we can use it this year? Let's hope!!

After we made our castle,
Kendall wanted to know who would live in it.
I ran inside and grabbed her Strawberry Shortcake stuff.

Looks like S.S. settled into her new snow castle nicely!
