Mr. and Mrs. Claus

When I was a little girl, I gave this music box to my Grandmama for Christmas. The tune is Santa Claus is Coming to Town and Mr. and Mrs. Claus spin around like they are ice skating. I always loved it as a child and this year, my Grandmama gave the music box to Brady and Kendall for Christmas. I was very touched and got all teared up too.

Blizzard 2008

We had almost a foot of snow yesterday.

Our neighbor's snow pile is taller than Brady.

We also took her for rides on the sled...

She ran around like a crazy dog. I don't even think her paws are touching the ground here...

The snow was so deep that she disappeared in our footprints.

After only a few minutes, she started to really shiver so I took her in. Todd said she took off her coat all by herself.

Snow Day

Brady and Kendall had a snow day. It was too cold to play outside, so I brought some snow inside.

Ooops - Mom didn't supervise. Giant chunks of snow on the floor. The entire kitchen had puddles everywhere.

There are three funny parts to this video (it's a little long and the lighting is bad - sorry!) 1) Kendall is putting her "gurls" in time out. I'm not sure where that comes from, she rarely gets time out at home! 2) Look how excited she gets when she hears the garage door open and knows Todd is home! She's such a Daddy's Girl! 3) She's super clutzy and totally wipes out...

Christmas Card

This card was created by Kelly Clark of Perilight Graphics. She is a friend of Michele George. She made our cards two years ago and donated the cost to the George's mission trip. This year I found this quote from Dr. Seuss and I really wanted to use it in my card. Kelly came up with this layout and I just love it!

Here is a pic from Brady's Christmas program. I realize it's small...

Brady did a great job singing. We could see him moving his lips and acting out the motions.

He is a pretty shy little guy, so I am very proud of him!
